TTAF list of qualifications and programmes

TTAF list of qualifications and programmes

Last updated 7 June 2023
Last updated 7 June 2023

The qualifications and programmes below were covered under the Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF). TTAF paid the fees on behalf of enrolled learners.* This list relates to private training establishments (PTEs), Te Pūkenga, universities and wānanga.

All apprenticeships existing at 1 June 2020 (effectively April 2020 for tertiary education organisations using the Single Data Return) were also eligible. Further apprenticeships were included at the TEC’s discretion.

You can find industry-training-funded TTAF programmes, including apprenticeships, offered by Te Pūkenga subsidiaries and PTEs on their websites. Those programmes are not listed here due to their large number.

You can find a list of Tertiary Education Organisations (TEOs), grouped by target area, that offered an apprenticeship, qualification or programme covered under the TTAF here:

TEOs offering TTAF qualifications and programmes

If a qualification or programme is listed below, it does not mean that every TEO delivering it was automatically eligible for TTAF funding. Each TEO needed to complete and return the Template for TEO TTAF Requests (XLSX 19 KB) to have an eligible qualification approved for TTAF funding.

For more information on how TTAF funding was applied for, and on eligible qualifications and programmes, see Programme Eligibility

*Learners had to be eligible to receive tuition subsidies under the SAC 3+ Fund, or the Industry Training Fund.
