Our first evaluation of the implementation issues and short term impacts of Education (Polytechnics) Amendment Act 2009. It aimed to improve the financial viability and educational performance of the institutes of technology and polytechnics, and introduced new governance arrangements.

We developed this framework with the ITP sector. It includes an outcomes hierarchy that identifies key inputs, processes and outputs and how these contribute to intended outcomes. Where possible, there are agreed performance indicators for each part of the framework.
These conditions apply to 2015 funding only. Tertiary education organisations must comply with these conditions to receive this funding from us.
