Fees Free marketing toolkit

We’ve created a Fees Free marketing toolkit you should use to support your own promotions.

Update your website copy

If you are a tertiary education organisation, you should update your website copy to ensure you have the most up-to-date information for learners. We recommend keeping the copy simple and directing learners to feesfree.govt.nz for more information. With the Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF) ending in 2022, we have included some messaging to support this.

Long website copy:

Check your Fees Free eligibility!

Fees Free tertiary education and training is a policy introduced in 2018 to expand participation in tertiary education and reduce student debt in New Zealand. It is targeted towards first-time learners.

If you are a first-time tertiary learner, or your first tertiary education was covered by the Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF), you may be able to get up to $12,000 of your fees covered for one year’s study or two years’ training. If you are eligible, we’ll organise payment of your fees with the Tertiary Education Commission.

Check if you are eligible by visiting FeesFree.govt.nz
