In terms of how well MPTT is implemented overall, the report found that performance is mostly good but there is room for improvement, particularly around course innovation and support for learners to transition to work.
While the evaluation has identified a number of areas that are not operating as well as they could, the sector as a whole expressed very strong support for the MPTT initiative.
The TEC and the Ministry of Education will work through the report in more detail with a view to improving how MPTT is operationalised for 2019.
