We work closely with other agencies to help deliver a world-leading education system that equips New Zealanders for the 21st century.

In particular, we work with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, who are responsible for monitoring our work as a Crown entity.

Working with other agencies is vital to:

  • support

  • achieve better alignment of activities across government

  • expand the use of shared services across education sector agencies

  • increase the outsourcing of non-core Tertiary Education Commission services through all-of-government procurement arrangements.
