The University of Waikato has received a 2020 CAUDIT award in recognition of their use of data sets to improve student success.

The University’s ‘Tertiary Success for Everyone – Ōritetanga’ project was one of five finalists in the Improving Student Success category. The Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT) Awards recognise, celebrate and promote the achievements and innovation of IT staff applying digital solutions to transform the student and staff experience.

The University of Waikato’s project is one of four projects we co-funded with other tertiary education organisations to test the components of the Learner Success Framework.

The learner success approach is about understanding all learners, their needs and aspirations, and supporting tertiary education organisations to intentionally redesign their businesses with learners at the centre.
