General enquiries

If you want to contact the Tertiary Education Commission (the TEC) with a general enquiry, our Customer Contact Group is your first point of contact.

You can email us using the contact form below or call us on 0800 601 301 or +64 4 462 5201.

We are here from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except on Wednesdays, when our hours are 9.30am to 5pm.

We are closed on public holidays, including Wellington Anniversary.

Protected disclosures

If you wish to report serious wrongdoing at TEC – or at an organisation associated with TEC – we will manage your report in accordance with the Protected Disclosures (Protection of Whistleblowers) Act 2022.
