This would apply to TEOs providing Student Achievement Component (SAC) courses at New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Level 3 or above and to domestic students only.

The Government considers that this proposed increase strikes a balance between protecting the affordability of tertiary education for students, while allowing tertiary providers to keep pace with costs in 2019.

Submissions close 27 July 2018. The Minister will then finalise the AMFM rate following consultation.
