NZQA has completed consultation on its Rules to reflect changes arising from RoVE and the passing of the Education and Training Amendment Act 2022.
NZQA has completed consultation on its Rules to reflect changes arising from RoVE and the passing of the Education and Training Amendment Act 2022.
NZQA’s consultation on proposed changes to its Rules closed on 24 October. The proposed changes reflect amendments to the Education and Training Act that came into effect on 1 August 2022 and ensure the Rules remain up-to-date and fit for purpose.
NZQA received over 120 submissions providing feedback on the proposed Rules changes. NZQA will publish a summary of the feedback received by the end of November and the submissions will be used to inform final decisions later this year. NZQA expect that updated Rules will come into effect in early 2023.
