The first two CoVEs have taken another step closer to being established, with the team receiving the completed Request for Proposals submissions from the selected consortia in late May and early June.
The first two CoVEs have taken another step closer to being established, with the team receiving the completed Request for Proposals submissions from the selected consortia in late May and early June.
A panel of experts for each sector reviewed these submissions, and the final recommendations for funding approval for both Primary and Construction sectors will be presented to the TEC Board for their decision at the 6 July meeting.
The CoVEs team has also developed a performance measurement framework, which will be used to develop the funding agreement measures with the successful applicants.
It is great to see this progress, as each CoVE will play a significant role in driving innovation and excellence in vocational education by strengthening links with industry and communities – an increasingly important role in supporting industries to recover from the impacts of Covid-19.
The details of the successful groups chosen to create the Primary Sector CoVE and the Construction CoVE will be announced in August.
