Our senior management and subject matter experts took to the road two weeks ago to present to tertiary education organisations around the country.

The Roadshow featured two sessions – the morning session was focused on strategic issues and the afternoon session on all things technical.

The first stop was Auckland where our Chief Executive Tim Fowler, and senior managers Deirdre Marshall and Brendan Kelly, talked about the strategic opportunities facing the sector, and the significant projects we are working on.

A common theme from the morning sessions was how we can use information better to make evidence-based  decisions. The demonstration of our interactive apps was a highlight for many who attended.

It triggered conversations about data integrity and practical ideas on how the tools could be used by both the TEC and individual TEOs.

Our technical teams took over in the afternoon to talk about SDR and other technical stuff, followed by presentations from our partners at NZQA and Studylink.

These were popular sessions with lots of useful information about the day-to-day management of the TEC/TEO relationship.

More than 170 people attended the two Auckland events and registrations across all five Roadshow events were in excess of 400.
